Police are hunting a group of men who were involved in a non-fatal shooting in Brunswick on Thursday morning.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries from the violent attack at a Wilson Street residence about 3am.
Police believe that a group of men were at the property when the shooting took place.
The group fled the scene before police arrived and despite a thorough search of the area, they were not found.
Seven News reported that a second teenager was assaulted but managed to escape the scene.
Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are investigating what they believe was a targeted shooting.
A crime scene was established at the scene which was roped off by police tape for much of Thursday.
