It’s on the streets!

The first print edition of Brunswick Voice is now available

Brunswick Voice
Sunday, December 4, 2022

FINALLY, Brunswick has a print newspaper again. This means that an entire new audience of Brunswick residents will have access to local news and information and hyperlocal journalism.

You can read a PDF version on the website now exactly as it has been printed.

But we know that what you will really want to do is hold it in your hands and keep it as a souvenir, so we’ve been busy all weekend distributing as many copies as we can in Brunswick’s main shopping areas.

There are copies available at the two libraries in Brunswick, the Brunswick Baths, Sydney Road, Union Square, Barkly Square and elsewhere.

But there’s only so much we can do, so now we need to ask a favour. By subscribing to this newsletter, we know you care passionately about local journalism providing local news for Brunswick residents – so can you help by spreading Brunswick Voice far and wide.

If you have a spare hour, perhaps you could deliver a few dozen copies into letterboxes in your local neighbourhood?

If you own a local business, would you be able to put a few copies on your counter for your customers to read and/or take home with them?

And if you have a favourite local café where you’d like to see Brunswick Voice available, can you ask them if they’d be willing to stock a few copies?

Send us an email if you’d like to help out.

Finally, we’d like to thank everyone who donated to making this first print edition possible. In fact, we raised almost enough to produce another printed newspaper, hopefully in the first quarter of 2023.
