Loaded gun found at Brunswick pub
Man has been charged with drug and firearms offences

A MAN has been charged after allegedly being in possession of a loaded firearm at the Moreland Hotel in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police found the gun during a routine patrol of the venue at 2am on Saturday.
They had asked to search the man after he attracted their attention, and while he was being escorted by police it is alleged he dropped the loaded firearm onto the floor.
He was arrested and during the search police allegedly located Methylamphetamine and a large amount of cash.
The 53-year-old Thomastown man has been charged with possession of an unregistered handgun, being a prohibited person possess a firearm, traffic and possession of Methylamphetamine, handling ammunition when unlicensed and dealing with proceeds of crime.
He was detained to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in an out of sessions hearing on Saturday.
